How much does a standard appointment cost?
Initial Consultation (45 mins): $120
This includes a detailed assessment, general skin and nail care, and a tailored treatment plan.Standard/Review/Follow-Up Consultation (30 mins): $100
Specialised Assessment (e.g., Biomechanical, Diabetes Assessment, Footwear): $135
Nail Surgery (45mins): From $300 (this includes a follow-up appointment after surgery)
Note: All fees are due at the time of the consultation.
Is there a travel fee?
Yes, a travel fee applies based on your location.
To ensure fair pricing and cover the specific costs of a mobile service, we charge a travel fee calculated by distance:
Calculation: I charge $1.00 per kilometre.
Distance Calculation: This is calculated from our operational base in Tee Tree to your home address, one way.
Please ask when booking for an exact quote on the total consultation price, including the travel fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
I offer convenient payment options at your home:
Mobile EFTPOS: I accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa/Mastercard).
Cash
Invoicing: I can arrange direct invoicing for approved Home Care Packages or government bodies (DVA/NDIS).
Can I claim a rebate from my Private Health Insurance?
Yes. If your private health insurance policy includes Extras Cover for Podiatry, you can claim a rebate.
Process: I process your payment in full, and then issue you a receipt containing all the necessary provider and treatment codes. You can then submit this receipt directly to your private health fund for a prompt rebate.
Do you accept Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plans?
Yes. I welcome patients referred under the Medicare CDM program (formerly known as an EPC plan).
Rebate Amount: If you have a valid referral from your GP, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $61.80 for up to five (5) services per calendar year.
Gap Fee: I charge a private fee (Consultation Fee + Travel Fee), and the Medicare rebate amount can be claimed by you directly, leaving an out-of-pocket gap fee.
Do you service Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) card holders?
Yes, I bulk-bill DVA clients.
If you hold a DVA Gold Card, I bulk-bill for all approved services, meaning there is no cost to you when you present a valid D904 referral from your GP.
If you hold a DVA White Card, services are covered for your approved service-related conditions only.
Do you accept NDIS participants?
Yes. Roberta Grady Mobile Podiatry Services are committed to providing accessible care to NDIS participants.
I can provide services for participants who are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed.
